When finding inspiration for your next project or a new brush that is just right, web design blogs have come a long way over the past year. Some have stuck with us for many years, faded away to be forgotten or seemed to have become popular in a short amount of time.
This is a collection of the 16 most influential web design blogs on the internets in 2009. In some form or another they have all helped us become better designers, coders, and all around rockstars. Plus, they give out loads of awesome freebies and ask nothing in return. How much more awesomeness can you ask for?

Founded in September 2006, Smashing Magazine delivers useful and innovative information to Web designers and developers.

2. Abduzeedo
Abduzeedo is a blog about design. What began as a means for backup after an ugly robbery, is now one of the design world’s most sought after blog for inspiration and tutorials.

Very nice choice. I guess some blog design are missing but really understand how hard is choice only 16 ROFL… i guess designium is the 17 ROFL not

Great roundup! There isn’t one blog mentioned that I haven’t followed for a long time. All of them have continued to put out quality content and have cemented themselves in my book as great resources.
