It would probably be a better idea to use 

&lt;code&gt;if( $comment-&gt;user_id == $post-&gt;post_author)&lt;/code&gt;

instead of 

&lt;code&gt;if ($comment-&gt;user_id == 1)&lt;/code&gt;</description>
